Mary Ann Stillings, 78, died peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Mary Ann was born in Garden City KS, the second of three children to Levi Durwood Chandler and Mary Ellen Powell. She attended the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville AR where she met her husband Hal Gary Stillings. In 1963, Mary Ann married Hal and they have four children. She was an active member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church on Tybee Island GA, and volunteered for Post 154 of the Sons of the American Legion . Melinda Gay Powell died Tuesday, March 29th under the care of Hospice Savannah with her husband at her side.

Bruce Thomas Barrett, Jr. of Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away on September 7, 2022, in Savannah, Georgia. Bruce was born in Kingstree, South Carolina on March 14, 1947, to Bruce Thomas Barrett, Sr. and Alice Grayson Barrett. He lived most of his youth in New Bern, North Carolina and later he resided in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He spent his final four years living in Savannah, Georgia in the care of family, Ron and Janet Garner. Bruce graduated from Havelock High School in Havelock, North Carolina.

She worked for the war effort at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL, and as a civilian at Fort Benning in the 1940s. She lived in Columbus for more than 70 years, working as a receptionist and assistant for an ophthalmologist. She completed her college degree from Columbus State University at the age of 72. She was a 1949 graduate of Savannah High School and a former member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church. Jane attended the University of Kentucky, where she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity. Jane’s legacy includes a love for the simple things in life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Genevieve Dzielinski, two sisters, Diane S. Morrissey and Gail Dzielinski, and her niece Laurie Morrissey Richmond. She was born on October 22, 1939 in Port Washington, LI, New York and lived on Long Island until her marriage in July 1960. Barbara attended Paul Schreiber High School in Port Washington.

She was preceded in death by her son, Alex Wiggins and her parents, Martin and Delores Kleiner. “Freddie” King, died peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2022. Freddie was born in Boston, MA on October 25, 1932 to the late Eugene and Margaret Carroll King. He was a longtime resident of Savannah and a graduate of Armstrong State College. Freddie owned and operated Coastal Electronics for more than 40 years before retiring.

He was the beloved husband of Clare Scott for almost 40 years. Dwayne was born to Earl and Eva Mary Scott in Cimmaron, New Mexico in 1946. He enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18 and retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer almost 28 years later.

She is a cherished wife, beloved mom, super-fun Nana, loving sister, generous friend and cared deeply for all her extended family and friends.
